This past Saturday we were invited in Boston for the wedding of Nicole to Wesley. We travelled from Montreal the same day and we arrived there safe and sound. We witnessed a most mystic mystirio at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Boston on a sunny afternoon in the heart of the winter!.
Archbishop Spyridon and Metropolitan Methodios of Boston officiated at the wedding granting the atmosphere the mystery of Orthodoxy. Archimandrite Cleopas Strongylis participated in the ceremony along with two other priests. It was a precious wedding full of emotion and respect to our Greek Orthodox values.
Nicole was a stunning bride and Wesley shined of happiness for marrying the chosen one.
I must explain that Nicole Koskores is the beloved grand-daughter of Evanthia Condakes, one of my closest friends in the USA. Nicole is the daughter of Eve’s son Nikos and sweet humble Maria is her mother.
A fabulous reception followed at the State Room of Boston. The elegance was evident, the decoration was set in the frosty white colors. Outside Boston was shining under an almost full-moon!
The food was exceptional, the music was youngish and fun . Of course, we danced the nyfiatika tragoudia ala ellinika, because we are absolutely and devoted Greeks in our heart and mind. I was happy to see all of Eve’s family and also Leo’s children.
We wish all happiness possible to the newlyweds. Long life and many happy returns of the day!
A sweet hug for Eve
